Avatar problems are fixed!

Hey Aaya! Remember how I was talking to you on Messenger about the avatar size limit thing? Well, I have discovered how to fix it! I think. I went onto the proboards help site and searched for "avatar size" and this is what I came up with: (see next post)

Remove Avatar Size Limit

Put this in the Global Footer (you do know how to do that, right?):

But, if you want to just increase the avatar size limit (normally it's 100x100) instead of removing it completely, put this code in the Global Footer, /plus/ the code in the previous post. Get it? I'm not sure I do.

how do u get avatars in the signature?

Well, what I did was kinda confusing, well, I'll just tell you.

So, I got all my little pictures from Photobucket (I don't know if any other imagehosting site would work--haven't checked them out) just FYI.

Step #1: When you click on a picture as you're searching for something, it sends you to a page with just the picture on it.

Step #2: THEN, click on the picture on that page, and it'll send you to a page with lots of pictures on it. This is the user's gallery.

Step #3: Now look through all the pictures to find the one you originally clicked on. There should be three white spaces below every picture on the page, including your picture.

Step #4: Highlight the "IMG" line so that all the letters are highlighted. Then copy it (press "Ctrl" and then "C" at the same time or go up to the edit menu up top in the Internet Explorer and there's a thing you can click that says "Copy").

Step #5: Open a new window and go to "Modify Profile" on this site on your account (click on your name in a post). Then paste the IMG code into your signature. You might have to take some words out though.

And there you have it! Well, you've got to click the "Modify Profile" button at the bottom of the page to make it show up.

Ok, I put the thing in the footer and it worked, but some Haru's avatar got really huge. So I tried to make the avatar smaller, but it wouldn't go any smaller. Then I put in the one where you can make size limits and made the limit 200. But it still wouldn't let me make the avatars bigger, not even my own. I am convinced this is a problem with my computer, because when I logged in today, all of the Favorites I've added for the past month were gone. Gurr. I will try again some other time.

(To self: Hang in there, Ayame! only one more final left!) Oh, and I hope you didn't get killed Yuki (what would Aaya do without his precious brother?)

Heh. Well you see....heh. I didn't tell them yet. Delying the inevitable, I suppose, but I did ask for help and ideas from a few of my friends and from Shanna, and they've all said to talk to my math teacher about it.

(FYI for the people who don't know about this yet: I got a C on my math final and--horror of horrors! not kidding--a B in math for semester. My parents are gonna KILL me when they find out. Which is why I'm going to do this...)

So what I'm essentially going to say is "I was wondering if you could check the scoring on my test...I felt like I did a lot better on it than my grade says I did..." (I got a 78 on the final. *shudder*) And when she checks it, I'll say, "Well, okay, thank you. It's just that I was so close" (I have an 89.3% only 1.7% away from an A! *grrr*) "And I thought I had done my best, but..." and then I'll try to look pitiful and try something that'll make her weight or curve my grade up to an A!

Then my parents will never know and I'll still have a chance at that 4.0 my seinor year! They expect me to be perfect, because my sister only got two B's which royally screwed her chances of getting validectorian, which is what they expect me to be. Wah. I cry now. *cries* Okay, I feel better. Heh.

DO NOT WORRY FOR I AM SAVED!!!!! I talked to my math teacher about it and she said that she was going to curve my grade anyway since I was sooo close and since I had an A for both quarters before that. Phew. I got worried for a while.
