Aaya LEAPS upstairs and BURSTS into Yuki's room. "YUKI!" He sees his brother, asleep. "Come, come now! Wake up! Your dear nii-san ((spelling?)) is here to tell you some big news!" He notices for the first time how absolutely angelic Yuki looks when he's sleeping. Being Ayame, of course, he takes out his new camera phone (which is part of his big news).
((Just imagine...He can call Hatori and send Hatori pictures))
Aaya takes the picture, hoping that the flash will awaken Yuki.

ooc: AH! I was typing this post when all of a sudden my dad started to come down the stairs and I had to pull the plug on the PC. i didn't realize until just before i went to bed that i had LOST THE POST!! so I'm going to try and recreate it, but I'm sure it won't be as good as the first. why does this /always/ happen to me? *cries* Ah well. here we go....
bic: As usual, the flash did not awaken Yuki, since it is fairly certain that he could sleep through a nuclear explosion. He simply sighed and rolled over. Since he was in a chair, this meant that he promptly fell out of the chair and onto the floor with a very loud THUNK. This too did not affect the snow-haired Sohma, as he only sighed again and curled into a ball on the floor, about two meters away from Ayame's feet. Then he murmured, "No, I don't have a textbook, but I can open that jar of pickles." He was still asleep, and dreaming to boot. But now that dream changed, and became one featuring Aaya. Not surprising, since Ayame had very loudly burst into the room. Aaya will always be a very hard person to ignore.
Yuki was walking down a road lined with beautiful blossoming cherry trees. "How pretty," he remarked absently. He did not have the time to stop and admire the trees, no matter how much he wanted to. He needed to hurry. He had to find it. What was this "it" he was looking for? Yuki did not know. All he knew was that he needed to hurry. He needed to find it.
Suddenly he stumbled. In surprise, Yuki looked down at his feet and saw a paved stone. "A cobbled road?" he said in astonishment. "But...all cobbled roads were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. They were symbols of the past. So...what is this doing here and where am I? Am I even in Japan anymore?" He could not focus on this for long. His feet began to walk of their own accord, faster and faster. He had to hurry. The need was getting to him, pulling him and calling him. Hurry! it said. It's lost! it said Find it! it said. So he obeyed.
Yuki was nearly running now, caught up in the urgency of the call. Abruptly, his feet stopped, and he almost toppled over. "What just happened?" he asked himself. All of a sudden, Yuki heard a crashing noise and--who else--Ayame leaped out into the middle of the road in front of Yuki. "YUKI!" he cried, in obvious delight. "I have been pining for you, my dear brother! Where have you been? I have been looking for you for ages!" Yuki ignored this. The need was stronger now, tugging at him, urging him to run, run away, run fast, run far! Once again, he obeyed the call and ran.
His feet pounded the cobbled road, hitting it again and again and again. He was followed by a large dust cloud that seemed like it would never disperse. He thought of nothing except the call, the need, the urgent pressing pull. Was he alone or was there someone else with him? Yuki did not know, and frankly, it wasn't that important. What was important was the seeking, the finding, the running. Yuki did not even feel the ground anymore, he didn't need to. He felt like he was flying, and perhaps he was. But did it matter, which he was doing? Running? Or flying? Each was fast, but which was faster? Which to choose from?
Yuki felt the back of his shirt stretch. What was happening? Was he, somehow, growing? He heard a loud RIIIIP and he knew there was something, something growing, something strange, on his back. What was it? He craned his head around, albeit rather awkwardly, in an attempt to see just what it was that had ripped his shirt. "It was such a nice shirt too," he muttered, before he got a good look at whatever-it-was. When he did, his eyes opened wide in astonishment.
Wings.
He was growing wings.
Pure, pearly white wings.
What was going on here?
"Well," he said to himself, "I suppose I must use my resources." And with a yell and a shout of joy, he leaped into the sky. After that, Yuki was aware of nothing but the wind underneath his new wings and the call, pulling him to some unknown destination.
After an unknown length of time, Yuki looked down and saw a small figure on the ground, walking along the path. Who was it? He was instantly curious, and decided to go down and find out. He tilted his wings slightly--he was getting good at this--and swooped down to a level of seven feet above the ground.
"Honda-san!" he exclaimed. It was Tohru! What was she doing here? The brown-haired girl looked up in surprise; who was calling her name? Her eyes widened in abject fear. "Oh God, what is this thing? What is it? How does it know my name? Oh mom! Help me!" Yuki landed, folded his wings, and looked at Tohru in confusion, amusement, and puzzlement.
"What in Japan do you mean, what is "it," this thing? I'm no more an "it" than you are, Honda-san!" When her eyes and expression stayed the same--fearful--he gently pointed out, "Don't be silly, Honda-san. It's me, Yuki!" Tohru's eyes widened even more, though they did not have the same fear reflected in them as before. "Sohma-kun? But--but--you--" Yuki saw what she was trying to say. "Oh, these?" he asked, gesturing at his newfound wings and laughing. "I know as much about them as you do. After all, they just showed up with nothing going on!" He laughed again, and noticed something...well, different.
"Excuse me for a second, Honda-san," he said quietly. He turned away and focused. What was different? Everything seemed the same, but...Yuki knew something had changed. He concentrated harder. What was it? He had to find out! Just as much as he needed to find...wait a minute. Where was the call? Where was the urgent need? What had happened that would have changed it? "What did I do? What happened?" Yuki whispered to himself. He looked around, and his gaze stopped on Tohru. "Is that it? Is she what I'm looking for?" Was she the thing that was lost? He decided to test out his idea.
"Honda-san?" he asked. "Are you, by any chance, lost?" Tohru looked at him in surprise. "Yes, Sohma-kun! But, how did you know?" Yuki simply smiled and said, "I just had a feeling. Come, let's go home." Yuki smiled and extended his hand. Tohru took it, and Yuki launched off into the azure sky with a shout of delight. Tohru looked very startled, as she now was being held by her friend Sohma-kun, with one of his arms around her back and the other under her knees. The world seemed to fade and run as Yuki realized he was waking up...
ooc: i know, i know, i took a lot of liberties with the dream sequence, but what can you do?i'll try to make yuki wake up for real when i get back on the PC later.

ooc: Aaah! sorry this took so long. I have been busy (meaning I lost all contact with the world for a whole day while reading a great book). Sadly, my inspiration is failing me, so don't expect much. On the other hand, I AM Ayame, so you can expect perfection;).
bic: Aaya sighed as he watched his little brother turn in sleep. If I was a less dignified man, I would cry, he thought happily. Instead, he decided to let Yuki sleep for a while longer; he had to send that picture to Hatori.
When that was done, Aaya prodded the still sleeping Yuki.

ooc: aren't you all proud of me? I'm actually going to post now (and it better be a good post) and i just might advance the plot! how lovely!
bic: Yuki groaned as he awakened from his strange dream. If he didn't know better, he would have thought that it might have meant something. It was just a dream, he thought groggily. No reason, no meaning. He blinked slowly, and listened. There was a strange noise coming from behind him. Then he realized something very important.
He wasn't on the chair anymore. He was lying flat on the floor. How in the world had that happened?
He blinked again, and tried to listen one more time. Was it....talking? Was somebody in the room with him? If so, who? He listened again, and tried very, very hard to concentrate. It was so difficult! Of course, this might have been because Yuki was still mostly asleep.
Argh! What was the infernal noise? He wiggled his feet, trying to wake himself up. Ah! That was better. Now....to identify the sound.
It was a male's voice, not high enough to be a child's but not quite low enough to be a man. Or was it? I suppose he could be a tenor, Yuki thought randomly. All right, now to figure out whose voice it was. He focused on the pattern of the voice, one which sounded rather familiar. Why?
And then...suddenly....he knew. It was HIM. His infernal brother.
Ayame.
Yuki leaped up from the carpeted floor and clamped his hand around Aaya's throat. ((Sorry Aaya, I'm not this violent! Ever! I think. Well, maybe only in my head. Heh heh...)) "Why are you here?" he growled. "What do you want? Because if I have any say, you won't get it. He was angry, why did Aaya have to bother him now, today, of all days! The one day where he just couldn't tolerate anyone's presence! Well, almost anyone's presence.
But Aaya! Of all the people he didn't want to see, Aaya was at the top of the list. Apart from Akito, that is. Why? Why today? Why now? He tightened his hold, not noticing the phone fall with a thunk to the floor. "Tell me why you're here right now, or I'll throw you out the window."
My, thought Yuki absently. I'm being rather violent today. Ah well. If there was anyone who deserved my violence, it has to be him. No worries there.
He shook Aaya, his violet eyes blazing. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't simply throw you out the window anyway, hmm?" Increasingly unaware of his surroundings--which just might be a bad idea--he shouted once more. "WHAT DO YOU WANT, *BLEEP* IT?!" Yuki didn't even notice that Aaya was unable to speak with the hand around his windpipe.
ooc: aaya, me needs some help. come on and post for me! i am stuck now. hey, is haru still in the room? i seem to remember that haru was just randomly in here a little bit ago, right?

tohru walks by to her room so she can go read ((does Tohru read? i don't know well she does now))the only reason she is reading is because she has already cleaned the entire house, top to bottom... well almost she stays away from shigure's room. 1. he is "working" and she does not want to disturb him. 2. i cant think of another reason. she is lost in thought about how long it will take for the house to become dirty again, and how truly kind, caring and wonderful the sohmas are. she is so lost in thought and trying not to fall that she walks right past the suffocating aaya and the enraged Yuki. ((that was a horrid meaningless post. oh well))

ooc: Yuki, your post almost made me cry. . . yes, I was laughing that hard. I am SOOO glad Yuki finally woke up! But, I really can't do too much if I can't breathe, right?I will do my best...
bic: Aaya made strangled noises in explanation, flailing his arms to get Yuki to let go. He looked at the other people in the room to see if they were going to help, thinking I hope my face isn't turning blue.
Not being a man to panic (unless rain made his hair wet), Ayame tried to smile at his brother.
